Metallized films are polymer films coated with a thin layer of metal, usually aluminium. Kankriya caters to a large market and offers the glossy metallic appearance of an aluminium foil at a reduced weight and cost. Metalized films are widely used for decorative purposes, food packaging, and also for speciality applications including insulation and electronics.

CPP films have optical clarity, high gloss, good seal strength and machinability and are quite resistant to tears and punctures. We have a complete range of Cast Polypropylene Film that is a highly dynamic and versatile film with exceptional gloss, excellent transparency, heat sealability, good twisting property and excellent tear strength. The film can be offered with corona treatment on either one or both sides. It is available between 18 – 200 microns, in plain, heat-sealable, metallizable, gloss /opaque varieties.

Thermal lamination films are surface coated with EVA resin or a thermal adhesive that melts even at a low temperature. This is one of Kankriya’s popular products. This feature ensures that the lamination of paper products is possible simply by applying pressure and heat.

There are three types of thermal films:

• BOPP-the film has the properties of BOPP film on one side and the other side is heat sensitive and is used for dry lamination. We have them in various decorative shades and it comes in different types like silky matte, matte, or glossy finish.
• PET- Though it’s a popular thermal film, it is expensive, and can be used for two-sided printing; not easily breakable, and comes in both gloss and matte finishes. Usually used to laminate the menu cards in restaurants and id cards with magnetic strips.
• NYLON-Nylon films are expensive. However, it’s used for book jackets as it has strong abrasion resistance, often called a breathable laminate as it allows moisture inside the laminate.

BOPA films are nylon films which are synthetic thermoplastics with exceptionally high tensile strength, and minimum tissue reactivity, and are very flexible. These are some of the most potent synthetic textile materials with excellent durability and low cost with unmatched oxygen barrier properties, making them perfect for cooking applications and packaging materials. Since it has so many pluses as a packaging material it is one of our top selling products.

Very easy to process and is often used in combination with polyolefin and creates a multilayered structure of the film. With its high melting point, it can withstand extremes of temperature. Based on its orientation process in manufacturing, nylon films are classified into three main types:
